Buskers Awards

'Buskers'

‘…Power's topical parable is an edearing little gem of a movie from start to finish …’
Michael Dwyer, The Irish Times

Buskers is the story of Packo, a young Dubliner, and Milos, a Romanian immigrant, who battle to secure a space to beg at a Dublin train station. After a comical battle of fists and of wits, of sly tricks and hard blows, the boys find a truly special friendship in their common love of music.

This is a touching tale of how friendships are made and the film raises the issue of the marked lack of charity shown to refugee immigrants the world over..

The film features an incredible performances by child actor Stephen Moran and movie veteran John Kavanagh (Braveheart, The Black Dahlia).
